Our Story

Our bodies feel and are best when unrestricted, allowing air to naturally circulate and maintain a sense of freedom. Unable to find women’s underwear offering this sensation, we designed one ourselves.

Our Story
Julia Greenberg, Founder

After giving birth to three children, Julia struggled with recurring UTIs and yeast infections. Despite consulting doctors in the US and being prescribed antibiotics, her issues persisted. It wasn’t until she sought advice from a modestly paid gynecologist in a third-world country that she discovered a solution. The gynecologist’s recommendation was simple yet transformative: proper air circulation around intimate areas and non-tight underwear designs.

First Design

In 2023, Julia got in touch with a cotton factory in India and requested fabric samples. After experimenting with various cotton types, she created her inaugural underwear design, drawing inspiration from bloomers, who revolutionized fashion by introducing a more comfortable and practical style of clothing, characterized by loose-fitting trousers worn under a skirt or dress. This concept inspired the designs for Cotton Slut.

Healthy is New Sexy

Our Story

We believe in prioritizing women’s health above all else. Our philosophy is simple: our bodies need to breathe, always. We understand that nature and fresh air have the power to heal and energize. With health comes confidence, which we believe is the sexiest tool a woman can possess. Instead of focusing on the preferences of men in women’s lingerie, we focus entirely to promoting women’s bodily health. And what’s more, even men are now recognizing that there’s nothing sexier than a woman who prioritizes her well-being.

Designed in New York City

Our garments are proudly designed in the heart of New York City, drawing inspiration from its rich cultural diversity, vibrant museums, and abundant art scene. We believe in celebrating the eclectic mix of influences that make up this dynamic city. In our commitment to quality and sustainability, we have partnered with the same factory that cultivates cotton and creates the fabric for our designs. This ensures that every step of the process, from cotton cultivation to sewing, meets our high standards and reflects our dedication to craftsmanship.
